Addressing a special plenary session of the global SME Business summit 2016, jointly organized by CII and the Ministry of MSME in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Ambassador exclaimed that the platform like this is very important to bring the nations together.
He mentioned that UAE is eager to work closely with India in fostering a healthy global SME ecosystem supported by a forward-thinking culture of entrepreneurship and business friendly environment. Together, let us encourage and support the emergence of even more SME Startups engaged in a variety of sectors to further enrich the global Economy
The meeting was also graced by speeches from H.E Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary Foreign Trade & Industry, UAE Ministry of Economy along with the UAE delegation.
H.E Dr Ahmed Albanna added that “India is an important country for us. Our relations are built on common goals, values and a sense of shared history–that goes as far back as ancient pearling routes.
He concluded by stating that a collective approach between the centre, state, private sector, industry associations, academia, banking fraternity, and other stakeholders is the most effective way to tackle barriers to the growth of MSME.
