UAE FOREIGN MINISTER ON A GOODWILL
VISIT TO INDIA
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) arrived at New Delhi on May 17th late evening, on a two day visit.
After his Arrival (on May 17th), the visiting Minister met with Indian Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee in presence of UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs Mr. Obaid Humaid Al-Tayer. Both Sides Discussed steps to improve bilateral trade and, as well as energy ties.
On his second day of the visit (on May 18th), H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Indian Foreign Minister Mr. S M Krishna and discussed with him means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, particularly in commercial, economic, investment and energy fields.
They also reviewed the latest regional and international development, as well as issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalid Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, Mr. Faris Al Mazrouei, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security ''&'' Military Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Mussli, Director of Asian Affairs at the Foreign Ministry and H.E. Mohammed Sultan Abdullah Al Owais, UAE Ambassador to India.
